We currently support Ubuntu 18.04 (‘Bionic Beaver’) and 20.04 (‘Focal Fossa’) and their equivalents among other Linux distributions. Note that our testing is primarily done with Ubuntu and we cannot guarantee full compatibility with other Linux distributions. For more details, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
To install VPixx device drivers and software tools on Linux, please follow these steps:
Download the Debian package (.deb) file from the provided link.
Open a terminal and navigate to the directory where the downloaded .deb file is located.
Install the package using the following command:
sudo dpkg -i [name of file].deb
If you encounter any dependency issues during the installation, you can try resolving them by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -f install
Once the installation is complete, the VPixx software tools will be available. You can find them in the /usr/local/share/VPixx Software Tools/Software Tools.
